"Wetline" eyeliner, Dr. Linda Dixon

Sun, Jun 27, 1999 7:35:50 PM
Enclosed are photos of a 37 y/o Hawaiian Portuguese female who desired
permanent eyeliner on her "wetline" only-- upper and lower.

1) Photo One: Preop R. eye with makeup removed R._eye.prewetline.jpg (77496 bytes)

2) Photo Two: Postop R. eye demonstrating micropigmentation of wetline only
R._eye.postwetline.jpg (153878 bytes)

Anesthesia Used: DOTC Blue and TAG #45 Gel
Pigment Used: 2 micron Black in distilled water only

When performing these procedures on the tarsal plate the eye is subject to
easy entry of pigment, especially when working on the upper eyelid. For
this reason, I am fond of this particular pigment which is free of alcohol
and does not burn or sting the eye.

The patient rated her pain level as 0-3 on a scale of 0-10.

Aloha,

Linda Dixon, MD
