Application for Board Certification and/or Academy Membership
Membership in the IMA & American Academy of Micropigmentation is a privilege. Invitation for membership is based upon a practitioner's procedural competence, professional qualifications, education, training and ethical conduct and support in the past and present of the mission of the Academy. Training outside the United States is not generally recognized by the Academy as there is no way to evaluate the training. The Academy accepts only those practitioners that meet the highest established standards of professionalism. A member of the AAM who violates these principles is subject to disciplinary action and suspension or expulsion from the Academy. The Academy is an academic resource and refuge for men and women worldwide who seek to achieve the highest possible standard of care in an effort to benefit and protect the public, the profession and other professionals. We are the American Academy of Micropigmentation and we are here to serve you.

$250 -CMI Active FAAM/Certified Micropigmentation Instructor
$200 Active Member or Fellow FAAM or FIMA: Allows you to use Academy Logo in your literature and website
$175 - Associate (1 year or more) AAM or IMA
$100 - Student (less than 1 year): Ask for Student Kit in 2005

CMI or certified micropigmentation instructors receive academic benefits which include discounts on all AAM publications, discounts on annual AAM EXPO, free AAM Journal; free MicroNews; a free FAAM CD which includes all updated Standardized AAM Forms, IPC Directory and Handy Guide to Permanent Makeup;access to the AAM Message Board; free web site listing and brochures and free phone support from leading professionals and physicians. Moreover, the CMI have a unique web listing and special referral service for practitioners interested in training. $250.00 per year

Student Class Members receive MicroNews and have access to the AAM Message Board $100.00 per year
Vendor Class Members receive MicroNews, a complete AAM Mailing list, 10% discounts on all advertising and priority at all AAM conventions and have access to the AAM Message Board. $250.00 per year
Executive Class Members receive MicroNews; obtain all the Academy publications at discounts; qualify for priority and discounts on advertising; and have access to the AAM Message Board $250.00 per year
Emeritus Members receive MicroNews and will be given discounts on all AAM publications and priority at all AAM functions FREE
